welcome to vinnie's fitness studio. an open-air fight and movement studio in the trees of assagao, north goa, built on the belief that real results come from great coaching, consistency and a supportive training environment.

we specialise in muay thai, kickboxing, mma, weight training, calisthenics and functional fitness, for people of all ages and experience levels who want to become stronger, fitter and more confident. founded by vincent davies, a british black belt in strike mechanics, alongside co-founder preet kaur, who leads the yoga and acupuncture practice.

unlike gyms that run back-to-back classes all day, we choose quality over quantity. one main group session a day, kept small, the rest of the time given to 1-on-1 and private group coaching, so every client gets the attention, guidance and motivation they need to progress at their own pace.

the studio is set in assagao, north goa, with space to move and the energy to match. classes are small and capped, the standard is high, and the pace is patient. whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, master bodyweight skills through calisthenics, learn muay thai, kickboxing or mma, develop practical self defence, or prepare for competition, we build a programme around you.

we train with care for the body. wraps before bags, mobility before sparring, breath before everything. the mirrors are there to sharpen your form, the music keeps the energy up, and the coach keeps you honest. you push, you check yourself, and the work speaks for itself.

03training

ten disciplines.
one standard.

the curriculum is built around striking. everything else, strength, conditioning, calisthenics, yoga, movement, acupuncture, exists to make the striking better and the body more honest. one body, one practice; every discipline taught as part of a single conversation.

every class is capped and led from the front. you'll drill before you spar, earn your rounds, and leave each session having learned something specific you can name.

the art of eight limbs

muay thai

the foundational discipline of the studio. clinch, knees, elbows and the long kicks, taught with patience, drilled with intent. classes move from stance and footwork through pad rounds and into controlled sparring as the body is ready.

kickboxing

punches and kicks built on clean footwork and timing. for those who want to move well and hit harder. structured rounds, technical drills, and an emphasis on the small details, guard, angle, recovery, that separate good striking from forgettable striking.

the full game

mma

stand-up, takedowns, ground. learned in clean blocks, then layered into the full picture. the goal is a thinking fighter, someone who can read a round, change levels, and stay calm in transition, not a brawler.

one to one coaching

private sessions with vincent. tailored to where you are, first wraps on, or sharpening fight rhythm. the fastest way to fix bad habits, build clean fundamentals, or prepare for a specific test. all privates are with vincent directly.

circuit & hiit

structured circuit and hiit rounds every tuesday and thursday evening, 5:30 to 6:30pm. functional fitness for every level, strength, stamina and work capacity built honestly through clean movement and measured intensity.

vincent davies

certified across muay thai, kickboxing and mma, with more than a decade of coaching and competition behind him. a coach's coach, quiet, patient, technical. striking treated as a craft and taught as one.

vincent runs the studio himself and personally takes every striking session and every private. if you train at vinnies, you train with him.

preet leads the yoga practice, iyengar, hatha and yin, and the studio's acupuncture sessions. the counter-balance to the striking floor: precise alignment, patient breath, and real recovery work.
